    Team ,

I have 9 years of experience in DB2 UDB and now I want to add my skillset and want to learn sql server dba.

Please share the guide or any manual from where I can start up.

Welcome to the world of sql server. You found a great place to get started. There isn't a manual of "How to become a DBA". The topic is huge and nobody knows all aspects of sql server.

Here a few suggestions to get you started:

•Visit this site daily and try the question of the day.

•Browse the forums on here for ideas and examples of how to accomplish tasks.

•Download and install sql server express on your machine.

•Check out the Stairways articles (you can find them over there on the left near the top of the links).

•Attempt to answer questions that others post when you feel confident enough.

•Above all else, keep your passion for learning and improving.
