  restoe Database if it is offline.

  1.can we restore the db if it is offline?

  2.restore information stores in table 'msdb..restorehistory' if we restore the db when the db is offline?

  Can some one please clarify these.

  As long as you're doing a WITH REPLACE, yeah, you can restore the database if it's offline.
