    I see application users in the application but I do not see them in the database as users ?

    These app users can connect to the database using their logins.But I cant find these app users in the database?

    How do I identify these app users in the database?What are they part in the database that they are able to connect to the database through their logins from the application?

    in that case, probably not;

    it's very common that an application uses a single SQL login to connect to the database and do all all the work under that login. so all the application users may login to the app, but it's up to the application to track who updated what. i'd almost expect the SQL server for the app to have one SQL Login , and no windows Logins at all.

    only if you were lucky enough to have an app that is using a trusted connection , that it also passes through to the SQL connection would you get what you are after.
