HI i have found this error in the log file of my reporting services ,
when i comes to the Configuration file in that
my DSN path is empty no input code is there in that DSN tags
<DSN>
<DSN/>
it shows the empty tags,
and my Current Report Server Report Credentials are Windows,Service account credentails will it take the problem or what
We have repaired the BIDS setup also still not able to get the resoluction
pls infom abut this , i have sufferd this problem last 20 days.
Please update the above query with high priority

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what is your problem. Can you explain it in other words? Do you get an error in SSRS? Reports don't work?

I have an issue with the Email subscription,while rendering my report to the receipents using Report Server, I have faceing this error likein the subcription window ,Transport server failed to send an email to the Recipient,
while i check the logs in the Log file it shows me the error like,NO DSN presnet in the config file of Xml configuration,when i comes into the Rsconfig file,there the DSN path is empty tages <DSN></DSN> like this
no encrypted information is not exist in the Rsconfig file.

Forget about the subscription for a moment; does the report work when you run it? If not, what is the exact error? Every report needs to have a Data Source that contains a connection string to the underlying database.

I agree with the previous responses. Email subscriptions and DSNs (Data Sources) are different things. Do the reports themselves work when you go to view them? Are you troubleshooting a report problem or an e-mail delivery problem? If it is the latter is the execution account and e-mail settings configured in Reporting Services Configuration Manager?

If it is not a report problem,It is an Email Subscription problem,For report side i have no issue, Ihave sccussfully view the report and deploy my reports and view the reports in the Reports server and Manager as well,
And i have able to create the fileshare subscription also,but while comes into the Email subscription it faces the problem.
I have properly configured all the configure settings and i have repaire the Reporting part as well,But still faceing the same issue.
can you guyes resolve my issue.
