Just a bump if anyone knows the answer to this? Was messing around with this last night, trying to create a goldmaster for Win Server Ent 2008R2 and Win Server 2012 R2. Both have VMTools, luns/disk presented but for some reason the 2008 vm keeps on asking for the license key whereas the 2012 VM is fine (activated okay, I have genuine keys for both).

Any ideas how to stop this?
