I have a report with two grouping levels that are sorted in the stored procedure. All of the documentation that I have read says that adding page breaks will cause the report to render faster. However, adding page breaks for each grouping level has odd effects.
For example, running it with no page breaks renders in about 12 seconds.
Adding a page break on only Group1 renders in about 2 seconds.
Adding a page break on Group2 (with or without the Group1 page break) never renders. It just says "Loading..." and never displays anything. The longest I have let it sit is 5 minutes.
By Googling I found both of these solutions, but neither has helped the situation.
1. All rows have KeepTogether = False
2. InteractivePageHeight = 8.5in
Does anyone have any ideas?
