I'm using SSRS 2008.
I have report models and views that are separated by line of businesses. So for example, I have a Corporate report model that has a view which only show data related to the Corporate LOB. The problem is that whenever there is a change required to a report model I have to make the change to all of the report models.
What I would like to do instead is pass the windows ID using windows authentication to a function (possibly?) that would call one view and filter by the userID to get the right LOB. Is there a way to pass the UserID when the user tries to run a report from the Report Builder to the database?
