I've been working with SSRS/BIDS since SQL Server 2005. I have started a new job and am now developing reports using Visual Studio 2010 for the first time. I'm adding my first chart to a report in this updated environment, and have run into a bit of a problem. Did the gremlins in Redmond steal "Add Calculated Series" away, or maybe hide it somewhere? It strikes me as pretty idiotic to deprecate moving averages and such, but after the fiasco of dropping support for "Me.Value" when they went from 2005 to 2008, I no longer envision any limits on the foolishness that MS can pursue.
So, my question is, how can I get moving averages back into my charts in this development environment, or must I use a different tool such as Report Builder or VS 2008 w/ BIDS?
