I am having some issues with replication. We setup the replication on AWS cloud and we have transactional replicaiton. Everything was running smooth since past few weeks and suddenly we see a message saying.
the subscription to this publication is not active yet. No user action is required.
I see the transactions are moving to distribution db successfully but the issue is with distrubution to subscriber. I tried restarting the log reading and distributed agent too. No luck.
Reinitialization is last option I can think of but here we are dealing with db of 400 GB. so no sure if that is a viable option.

Is this a new Subscriber? Did you generate the initial snapshot to initialize the Subscriber?

I recently setup the replication with 1 publication ---> 1 subscriber, Initialized snapshot from backup and didnot add or remove any new articles from the publication.... but the replication broke with the error message posted in first message. I didnot add any new subscribers
