Can an xlsx excel file be read in using a flat file connection.I tried a few different column delimiters like tab vertical and coma but still doesn't come in right
That's because an Excel file is not a flat file. Use the Excel connector, or (preferred) get the data exported to CSV and use that instead.
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.
