Hey GilaMonster, I have set up Transactional Replication and I am totally loving it! It works like a champ. Thanks for the excellent suggestion. 😎I don't think Gail suggested using Transactional Replication to meet your requirements; quite the opposite in fact!
Err... Please quote where I recommended not to use it, because I can't recall doing so.
Does anyone have a suggestion about copying a production database during business hours? The solution has to be within SSMS. (In other words, no Baremetal backup.) Thanks,
