(not sure if this is the appropriate forum...)
I've been using BIDS Helper (BH) in VS 2008, but I can't seem to get the latest (v1.6.0.0) to work with the VS 2010 Shell (aka SSDT). The BH installation completes successfully but BH does not appear in either the Help|About window, nor the Tools| Add -In Manager... list.
From the Help|About window:

Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Integrated) - ENU Service Pack 1 (KB983509) KB983509
This service pack is for Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Integrated) - ENU.
If you later install a more recent service pack, this service pack will be uninstalled automatically.

I've installed/uninstalled and closed/opened VS multiple times without success.
Anyone else run into this?
TIA

I have BIDSHelper 1.6.5.0 installed in VS 2010. Same version of VS as you have. Wish I could tell you more.

Do you remember what steps you took after installation?

There are no steps to take after installation. It just works (well, normally it does).
I would de-install, download the latest version and try again.
