Locks on a table

  • Hi,I need help regarding my issue.

We are using a application which is used by multiple users simultaneously.Using this application, different users are going to get the information from same database table. My problem here is multiple users are getting the same information.I want to have a control on this.So that accessing information of one user is not available to another user. How to do this. Thanks in advance.

Wow that is extremely vague. Taking a shot in the dark here.

Add another column to your table(s) so you know what data any given user can view? Maybe add UserID (or whatever) to the columns. Then you would need to modify every query to include the extra predicate in the where clause.
