file sharing subscription does not work

  Hey all

  I am new to SSRS 2008 R2 and am trying to learn the process from building a report to creating a subscription. Alas, I am failing in subscribing to said reports. I tried to create a normal subscription using the file sharing option in PDF format. The log shows an error saying:

  "Error writing file in \\mymachine\reports\report.pdf. The specified network name is not available any more." (not the exact words, as I translated the message from German)

  The account for the report manager is the same I am logged in in Windows (Win7) and has local admin rights. I have also set the writing rights to the shared folder to my account. SSRS is installed on a local machine and the whole process takes place on the same box. The internet could not provide me with any idea as how to behave when receiving the error message as described above.

  Your help is much appreciated. I'm stuck here.

  EDIT: I had an inspiration while I was smoking. It is so easy at times. I just interchanged "\\mymachine" with "\\localhost" and it worked. Could have thought of that a week ago... nevermind.
