  We have a active/passive node environment which works consistently however last night it failed due to the following sql error log;

  04/23/2014 06:08:52,spid71,Unknown,Enlist operation failed: 0x8004d01c(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15105). SQL Server could not register with Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) as a resource manager for this transaction. The transaction may have been stopped by the client or the resource manager.

  04/23/2014 06:08:52,spid71,Unknown,Error: 8510<c/> Severity: 20<c/> State: 3.

  I would expect this to be a MSDTC issue but can't find anything suspicious in the Cluster.log. The weird issue here is in the cluster.log file there isn't anything for around that time.

  Has anyone experienced this issue? Can anyone direct me to where I'd be able to find out what is going on here?
