I have been listening to the reports from Fort Hood last night and this morning. And I've been thinking that while we spend a huge effort on electronic and intellectual security in most IT installations these days, we don't often hear of thoughts for physical security, maybe especially from those within. Like the situation at Fort Hood, with perimeter security at entrances and exits and certain locations internally, should we also be thinking more about internal safety. We all know IT can be a stressful environment by its very nature.
