Looking for a basic article that imports a series of XML files in a folder into a table. There should be some element in the XML documents that maps to a PK or other value in the table.
Separate articles for SSIS, PoSh, or other techniques.

I should be able to write on an SSIS-driven ETL process using XML files as a source and also touch on XML validation.

That would be good, but a basic, simple, 2 pager on importing separately would be good.

Not a problem. I can instead focus on reading and inserting XML files using T-SQL and follow up at a later time with an article on a simple iterative data flow for a collection of XML files.
