Hi,
I have SSRS installed in native mode and have setup the admin access and viewer roles in the site settings. As an admin I can connect ok and run reports. However, the members of the viewer role that are members of the domain security group get the access or UAC restrictions error. I have followed all of the steps that I have found on various sites and still cannot get the standard users access. :w00t:
What else can I do to get the standard users access?
Does the Domain Security Group need access on the database too or does SSRS connect as a different user?
Thanks in advance for you help.
Best,
Tom

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, even when IE9 is run as Administrator I get the same error see:
User 'CONNECTION\etest' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed.

I finally figured this out. What happened was that on the home screen my test user did not have access. Once I added the security group to the home page of SSRS the UAC / permissions errors left. What a dummy sometimes things are staring you in the face but you cannot see it.
What led me to this resolution was that I added the restricted group to the sys admin group in SSRS and I was able to get to site settings, that led me to look at the home page security.
