Transactional Replication between SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2008R2

    Good Day.

    We are runing an SQL Server 2012 Production Server as the Publisher and a Reporting Server with SQL Server 2008R2 as subscriber. I Tried to monitor the Replication from the Replication Monitor on SQL Server 2008R2 , but I am unable to do any monitoring ? Is it the old story of You can Monitor FROM a high version TO a lower version ? Any Ideas ?

    Yes, we have a similair situation here. We use the replication monitor for 2012 to monitor all versions of SQL server because it can't monitor 'higher' versions.
