Microsoft changed certification program when it published SQL Server 2012.

Practically you have to get MCSA first by doing tests 70-461, 70-462 and 70-463.

After that you can specialize to platform or business intelligence and get MCSE certification by doing two tests more.

I think that it's not possible to do SQL Server 2008 tests any more.
