A request has come to me.. to take our reports and instead of creating a copy.. for each plant, to customize it within the report.
While I have the following idea, I do not know how to code this solution in SSRS... and this might not be the best option.
Create a table with the PK being the report + Windows Domain Group. In the table you would have a number of columns that would hold information about changing the report... for example the first 4 rows might be reserved for data columns that are to be included in the group by (and the first 4 columns on the report). The next four columns would be for calculated columns, and the 4 after that telling how to calculate the group by, for each of the 4 calculated columns.
