  Trying to install MS Security patch MS11-049 (KB2494086) on SQL Server 2008 R2 build version 10.50.1753.

  The patch installation fails in midway with the log file error message as :

  Only the Database Engine Services is not getting patched. The remaining components seem to have got patched as below :

  Tried repair and install multiple times, but the patch install fails.
