  Hi,

  A table has two VARCHAR(100) column. Number of Records 2100000, Disk Space Consumed 222MB.

  It is having Varchar data of length 80.

  I have updated these two column with number 15.

  So

  before Update- 80 character data in both column

  after Update- 2 character data in both column

  After Update Can i aspect less disk consumption by the table.
