Hi every body,
I created a report with SSRS without problem, but when I tried to deploy it , I received the following message :
"The permissions granted to user 'PC-PC Acer \ Acer-PC' are insufficient for performing this operation."
NB; I'm working on my PC acer-pc which is administrator, so I don't understand why i don't have permission.
Please help me to overcome this problem which blocks me for a long time.

Okay. I can never remember the steps exactly to fix this, but eventually I get it right, so this should get you started:
1. Run IE as Administrator
2. Go to localhost/reports (assuming you installed SSRS with the defaults) or //pc-name/reports
3. Upper Left click on Site Settings
4. Click security
5. Click New Role Assignment
6. Add your current user explicitly
7. In IE go to Internet Options -> Security and add http://localhost or http://pc-name to trusted sites.
Now you should be able to deploy.

Sorry I had the order incorrect. Move step 7 to Step 2. Also Site Settings is in the upper RIGHT corner when you get to the Report Manager page.

Okay, you can add the report manager site to the trusted sites in IE without going to that page so just run IE as an administrator and go to bing or google then in internet options add your pc and http://localhost to the trusted sites.
Then you should see site settings in the upper right corner of the report manager page. According to google translate that would be Les paramètres du site in French.

That's exactly what I did, I have already added the link in the trusted sites, but I still have the same problem, THE report manager doesn't appear. so ?

Hi,
It seems the "Reporting Services" service is not running and this could be the reason that you are not able to see Report Manager page. Can you check and start the service from "Services" (Go to Run--> Services.msc).
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks!

The service is started. when I try to enter the link http://nameserver/reportserver I receive always a pop-up containing username and password. I click on ok the pop up persists, i don't know why !!!
