You don't necessarily need sharepoint to create and display a dashboard that is built within a SSRS report.

You can actually create a dashboard within a single SSRS report. If necessary, you can build a "container report" than is comprised of subreports. Each subreport can focus on a specific type of data for the dashboard.

On the other hand, depending on what the nature of your data is and what message you are attempting to convey on the dashboard, you may be able to build just one SSRS report that contains one or more datasets that are then displayed on the report using various graphs.

By the way, if you don't have a lot of experience designing dashboards or reports that include data visualizations (graphs, charts), please take some time to browse the information on Stephen Few's website: www.perceptualedge.com His articles are excellent, his blogs are relevant, and the discussion forums are engaging.

Stephen Few is an expert in data visualization and the design of dashboards. He doesn't focus on technology, however, so don't expect to find solutions specific to SSRS. What you will find are excellent principles of dashboard design.

As for help with SSRS, keep coming back to sqlservercentral. Lots of smart people here who are willing to assist.
