    Hi All

    I am very new to SSIS and dealing with packages

    Please help me with something.

    When a package is created, is it always created in BIDS?

    When you save the package, do you choose if you want it saved on the file system or in SQL Server MSDB

    I'm confused about this process of creating, saving and accessing packages

    You can use wizard also but there you will not have the flexibilty to configure it as per your need.Wizard can be used e.g. simple import export functionality.
