I ran DBCC OPENTRAN on a database, and I received this output:
Transaction information for database 'AllSQLRes'.
Replicated Transaction Information:
Oldest distributed LSN : (277:14289:1)
Oldest non-distributed LSN : (0:0:0)
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.
How do I interpret this? All I have been able to find out is that LSN is Log Sequence Number. I couldn't find any mention of the difference between a "distributed LSN" and a "non-distributed LSN".
This database is a test database that was created by restoring a backup from a production database that uses transactional replication. There is no replication on the test database.
