SQL Server 2017

  • Have SQL server 2017 officially released or not?
From Microsoft site, I can see there is SQL server 2017, but not sure if it is officially realeased or not?
Any way I can know that?

    Thanks

  • Thanks, I did google and a lot of results.
But no one seems telling when is the release date, or is it already released or not?

    Thanks

I didn't see it either which I was I gave you that other link. On the 2017 main page, click on the Try It Now button and then read the fine print in the middle of the page - just below the 2016 download links. Right there is the smallest font on the page - like they are trying to hide it or something. 🙂
I would have expected it to be on the main page too.

  • Yes, it does (as shown in the picture in the highlighted text).

Yup it's on the downloads page but SQLFriends was referring to the main page that comes up on a search using SQL Server 2017. That is the second page I referred to - click the try it now button and you go to the downloads page where the tiny print about the release date for 2017.
The main first page is here - not the downloads page:
SQL Server 2017 on Windows and Linux

That link above is the link to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-2017
