Even if you don't want to work for Microsoft and couldn't care less about Bing, this novel help-wanted Easter egg should bring a chuckle -- particularly when you learn the secret to displaying the egg with Firefox or Chrome.
First, here's the standard Internet Explorer approach to seeing the egg, modified a bit from the instructions originally posted this morning by Jasper Hamill at The Register:
- Step 1: Make sure IE is showing script errors: Fire up IE, then click Tools, Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and under Browsing, uncheck the box marked Disable Script Debugging (Other), and click OK.
- Step 2: Go to bing.com.
- Step 3: Press F12 to bring up the developer panel, click the Console tab, and scroll to the bottom of the list.

I was tickled to discover that you don't need to use IE to see the egg.
In Chrome, go to bing.com and press Ctrl+Shift+J to bring up the developer panel. Click the Console tab.
In Firefox, install the Firebug add-on, go to bing.com, click the Firebug icon, then click the Console tab and click Enable.
The egg doesn't show up in every country, but it does in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The egg's link points to an everyday listing on the Micorosft Careers site. As for the job? Meh. It's for a Software Development Engineer II, in Bellevue, "to influence the face of Bing."
Hats off to the folks who hatched the egg. Well done.
