Distracted

I've found myself to be very distracted this week. Concentration on the task at hand has proven to be a challenge. I'm pretty sure the cause is that I just came off of three weeks of travel, which can be exhausting. Concentration, like so many things in life, requires energy. No energy, no concentration. So, the question is, how to recharge.

Now, a big part of that is simply going to be getting a good amount of sleep, in your own bed (with my own pillow, I miss my pillow when I'm on the road). However, you also need to make sure you're eating well, exercising, and getting in whatever "me" time you need. All of this is challenging. Further, except for the sleep, all of it requires effort, which requires energy, which I don't currently have. HA! It's a blocked process.

The lesson is, take care of yourself so that you can do what's necessary, including taking care of yourself.
