Tell Your Loved Ones You Care

The Data Platform community lost a couple of people this week. Euan Garden and Dean Vargas. These were good people. They're going to be sorely missed.

While I wanted to say something profound about them, I don't think I can do them justice. They were both simply good. The kind of people you want to be around. The kind of people you want to emulate. I'm not sure what else I can add to that.

Instead, I want to encourage you to cherish those around you that you care for. Let them know you care. It's sad, and more than a little horrifying, to say, but you might not get a second chance. Me, I'm off to give my wife another hug. She's been getting a lot of those this week.
