  • Good question, and really terrific reference. That page should debunk many widely believed myths and isn't propagating any, which is quite unusual for a page that talks about the differences between temp tables and table variables.

  • Note to self: do not try to answer SQL questions (no matter how simple) before 1st cup of coffee is consumed. In hindsight, I actually had the right answer but forgot completely (or fell asleep) when I went to click the answer.
