Using SQL Server 2005, there seems to be a problem with the "retain roles and members" option. Security settings (e. g. cell security) in the roles on the server are deleted. Is there a good workaround?

Steve, the third dialog box seems to be missing(figure 2 and figure 3 are same). Could you please correct that? Thanks in advance.

Need to explain what Retain Optimizations checkbox implies - no screenshot even so this is pretty glossed over. Otherwise good.
