Thanks to all for read this.
Sorry if I am wrong, please take me to the rigth way.
I had installed Sql server 2008 trial for a 180 days test period. It is a full product version.
Databases reportserver$InstanceName and reportserver$InstanceNameTempdb, are present. This means that ssrs was installed.
Furthermore, I had checked on dvd installed components, and reporting services was installed.
Ok, the problem: When I try to connect via Management Studio to the instance: Reporting Services, in order to assign reports roles,
this instance is not on the list. Only appears Database Engine and Sql Server Compact instances, but not Reporting Services instance.
What is wrong?
I tried to connect to the url report server, of course, only as administrator, and only a few text was displayed.

Using SSMS to connect to reporting services, the first thing you need to do is select Reporting Services as the type of connection, then type in the instance name you want to connect to (e.g. servername\instance).
The drop-down does not perform a search - it is more like a most recently used list and only displays the servers that you have connected to.

That is the problem. Any kind of instance appears like Reporting Services in what I can select the server\instancename. Just, it is not on the list of types of instances.
But, ok, I had Uninstalled all SQL, restart my pc and installed a full installation, this time, when configuring accounts, I just used one, the windows account of my session for all BI activities as I could assign it.
This happening :
- Business intelligence instances appears.
- I have any permission to assign roles or create it.
- I logged in as administrator and can create system roles and roles.
- Report Server Manager page is in the last status, just a couple of words like last post.
- I can not assign any user to any role. I suggesting that I had missing something else, or,
installed in a wrong way my sql server, once again.
Can you or someone else illustrate me?
I still cannot deploy due to an user/password window.
Thanks a lot answer and read my post.
Dalsom.:hehe:
