Hi all, please help if anyone can, I am sure here are masters Smile i create linked server to access file in which I have localtalbes, linked tables to oracle dband linked tables to SQL DB, I can query all locals and SQL talbes from this linked server but when I try to query

"SELECT * FROM TEST1...VASO_LOAN_UPDATES"
where "VASO_LOAN_UPDATES" is linked table to oracle DB

I receive error

"Msg 7306, Level 16, State 2, Line 1 Cannot open the table "VASO_LOAN_UPDATES" from OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" for linked server "TEST1". The specified table or view does not exist or contains errors."

how can I fix it? Tnx advance

First, I think you need to use the four part naming, not ....

Second, are you sure the credentials used for the linked server can access that item?

how can I use four part naming in case of link from access file, and all this tables are accessible from access

OK, I'm confused, are you writing the query in Access?

It's not clear what linked servers you have, and where you are querying. If the tables are in Access, then you would use the ... instead.
