I've just tried to run SSRS off of the new server we're moving it to, and I've gotten the following error message:

The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid, or it
cannot be read. The found version is 'C.0.8.54'. The expected version is 'C.0.8.40'.
To continue, update the version of the report server database and verify
access rights. (rsInvalidReportServerDatabase)

I've gotten into Reporting Services Configuration, went to the Database Setup tab and clicked on the Update button, but that didn't fix the problem. I'm not sure what I should do about this now, so would appreciate some help/direction please.

Kindest Regards,Rod

We had to move SSRS to a different server.
