SQL CE 3.0 can handle only one open connection.

I working on a device with 2 applications running on the same database (user app and separate synchronization process on the background).

When the synchronization app has the database open the second app crashes when it tries to open the database.

Does anyone know a proper way how to check whether an other application has already a connection open to the database.

We are developing on VB.Net compact framework 2.0

Regards,

HD.
