It would be nice to know where the steel city SQL is located. There are almost 14 Birminghams in the US and Pittsburgh Pa is known as steel city, but I don't know if that is where it is. The link to the steel city site has no map, no directions and assumes that everyone knows exactly where it is. All pages are redirected to a registration page and will not allow anyone to get by that page. I just want to know where the thing is before I register. I live in Pa, But I don't need to register if it is in Alabama.

It's Birmingham Alabama, but so far I have been unable to pull up their advertised website or locate anyone in the club. Anyone know how to get in touch with these folks???

This is a reminder that Steel City SQL will be meeting next Tuesday at Athena! As many of you may have already heard, to avoid scheduling conflicts, we are moving our regular meeting time from the third Thursday of the month to the third Tuesday of the month. Make plans to join us next Tuesday, October 17th at 6:30pm at Athena Learning Center where Jeremy Gaige, a Systems Engineer from Idera, will be presenting on SQL Server Security and Auditing.

Jeremy has over 10 Years experience in enterprise management including SQL Server in small and large environments all over the world. He has a held a variety of roles including systems manager, consultant, Sr. Training Consultant, and systems engineer. Jeremy currently serves as the SQL Server security product specialist at Idera.

Additionally, we will have information on the upcoming SQL PASS Summit 2006 in Seattle, Washington on November 14 -17. This will be your last opportunity to take advantage of local chapter discounts at this can't miss conference.
