Hello all,

My first post here. It's probably a very easy, or not question, but I'm new to Data warehousing and to DTS's.

Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the information stored in several DTS's?

I have some that are working and being updated and in use, however, since the people who made them, left... we need to understand the how and what the DTS's do.

Is there any way to retrieve this, without opening each DTS, retrieving the Query it uses and so on.

Thank you for reading.

Best regards,

Francisco

Hi,
how many DTS we are talking about ?

There is a way to manage DTS from the code, it's the DTS object model.

This is not a simple way, you have to know the model and write code to load the existing DTS and get and print the different properties. Maybe you can find some example of this looking on the net.

If the number of DTS is high and they are complex maybe an effort on this could be justified, otherwise is much more convenient to manage them manually.

Kind regards. Alex.
