I have finished these cover to cover and now need new reading material. Any suggestions? Any good SSRS books out there? I am a Report Developer if that helps.

Would Grants Query Tuning book be good for me as a Report Writer or is this mainly aimed at DBA's? http://www.amazon.com/Server-Query-Performance-Tuning-Experts/dp/1430242035/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1403877309&sr=1-1&keywords=grant+fritchey

Performance tuning is good for everybody. Though there are other things to consider when looking to tune reports besides just the tsql.

I would also recommend my book ;-)

Which book is that SQLRNNR so I can look it up? Love reading the SQL books.:-)

I'll Probably then order Query Tuning today since you said its good for everyone. I wonder if I could get Grant to autograph it:-P

Nice! SQLRNNR thanks for the recommendations. I know it says its for 2012. So its probably got a lot of the new 2012 functions in there, but by chance do some of your recipe's work for 2008? Also would you be willing to autograph a copy? I'm a nerd.

Many of the recipes work on 2008. There is some functionality that did not change with the 2012 release.

And yes, if we cross paths I can autograph it.

I purchased Grant's book "SQL Server 2008 Query Performance Tuning Distilled" and liked it.
