This may seem a rather naive question but I feel obliged to ask it, because I have been searching around on Microsoft sites and I can't find the answer...
Is there any known restriction or problem with installing an application which at it's core uses SQL-CE, onto a Microsoft Windows Server which is already running full blown SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012?
Myself and colleagues can't seem to find if doing such a thing would cause problems to the SQL-CE based application or reciprocally compromise the functionality of the existing full blown SQL Server itself.
Your expertise in answering would be appreciated.
