Data synchronisation without replication

  • Hi everyone,

We are a telco, and hired a company to make data available on our website to our customers (invoices, payments, call records, ...).

The data is stored in a SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition.

They (the company we hired) have no access to the data in our database, so in the meanwhile we send them once in a while text files with the data from the different tables in our db. There are some really big tables, and other tables updated on a daily base.

We told them that it seems to be a quite primitive way of exchanging data. They told us to use API with XML or JSON to synchro the data between us and them. I have no idea how to do that.

Has someone any clue how to do that, or any other idea how to have them access to the live data in our db without use of replication?

    Thanx,

    natha
