I am sure I am not the only one who tests my database backups to make sure they restore correctly so I am hoping someone might offer a solution to my question.

I am looking for an automated, or as much as can be automated, way do document my restore testing.

I need to know what the database name is that was restored, the date it was tested, who did the restore test, what was the outcome of the test, when is the next test due and other information etc...

Do anyone know of a program or utility that can help automate or speed up this manual process?

I am referring to the recording of information not the automation of restores.

Thanks in advance

Gary
