Environment:
Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition SP2
SQL Server Standard Edition (64bit)

I have 5 named instances and only want to install SP4 on instance1 without having to reboot the server causing the other instances to be restarted.

Is this even possible since the other instances are locking files that SP4 must update? Unsure

Disregard message. Service pack has to update all on multi-instance server.
