Do I need to be working in Microsoft Certified Partner in order to register for exam

    Hi,

    I try register a number of times for 70-461, it always throw out the following error:

    An unexpected error has occured while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience. please try again later. Please note: your method has not been changed

    I try to register IBM exam. it did not failed.

    I've email to both Microsoft and Prometric about this issue, but they have yet to respond to me

    Would appreciate if someone could tell me if this is required.

    No, you don't need to be working for anyone in particular, or even to be working at all. Anyone can register, pay for and write an exam.
