The title of the question has nothing to do with the trick question with the IsNULL() function and the variable length. The question only proves that IsNull is using the variable of the first parameter.

I find this to be very true even when the answers are correct. I always learn something from you and others who amplify on the answers.

I do look at the question of the day as a way to learn. So, even when I get it wrong, I still win because I have learned something.
