I hope all of you agree that it's a painful task to provide or remove access to the reports through Report Manager.
We're using SSRS 2012. I tried the SSRS webservice (http://<servername>/ReportServer/reportingService2010.asmx) to find out if there is any way that I can play around with the access mechanism but I couldn't find any help or probably I wasn't able to reach proper method of the webservice. What I want to do is write a VB.Net code that will give me a list of reports in a grid with the checkbox against each and list of users in another grid and then I should be able to check the reports from the first grid and the list of users from the 2nd grid and give multiple access on a click of one button. Something similar for the removal of the access too.
It's been almost 15 days that I've been trying to find out a way to do this but I'm not able to do this.
Any help in this regard will be appreciated. Please feel free to ask me any clarification in case I haven't made myself that clear in the above description.
