Does anyone know if its possible to trace failed SP calls through Profiler? For example, if you call an SP without a required param, it red inks but nothing shows up in the trace to identify the failed proc call.

This would be helpful when debugging errors in a binaries data access.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think SP:CacheMiss might help you. It is under Stored Procedures in the Events Selection tab. According to msdn this will : "The SP:CacheMiss event class indicates that the procedure is not found in the cache."

It's probably not built for your purpose but I think it might just work!
