  • Nice question and the thread shows few workaround for chaining computed column.

    This is one of the many features which I never used in development.

    (having known on the computed column but never used computed inside another computed column, so was not 100% sure if the answer was NO and kept thinking may be this new version allows you to do this, so I have to literally execute the T-SQL before I could make the choice... :w00t: not a right way.. :rolleyes: to go)

    In cases like this, my personal QOTD rules allow me to use BOL - only if I can't find the answer there would I resort to running the SQL.
