Rather than the option of immediate e-mail, I'd like to see a way of getting an e-mail every so often that would give a summary of what topics I was following had new replies and maybe a link to the first new one.
I'm not sure what the best interval would be. I'm thinking somewhere in the 1 to 4 hour range.

On the list. It's a surprising amount of development work, so it hasn't been a priority. I have been thinking of these options:
- immediate
- never
- every hour
- every day
For the last two, all your replies would be included in one email.
Thoughts?

Once a day would be consistent with most services.
It might be worth subscribing with 2 accounts if you need to just follow some topics.

We are talking about this.
We'd need options since many people want to be notified when a reply is posted so they can reply if necessary. However a "casual follow" would be nice.
